GETTING LIT WORLD TOUR RECAP
The Spot Tavern Bathroom!
Thanks, everyone, who came out to support us and other presenters at the 645 event, hosted by MatchBOX and The Spot Tavern. We talked about our podcast for 6 minutes and 45 seconds with a silly presentation. 52 people were there! We hope that we now have 52 new subscribers. Or one new one! That’s okay, too.
The signature drink for the event was Ilana’s invention Sweet Madeline, the Tender Wings of Desire episode cocktail. It was delicious!
Thanks, also, to Ilana and Matt for hosting me for the long weekend, showing me the sights of the lovely town of Lafayette, Indiana. We strolled through Purdue, visited Second Flight Books, ate at Triple XXX and Yatagarasu, and then took a quick trip to Chicago to visit the art museum and the Russian Tea Room. Excellent weekend all around!
Ilana’s Drink: Artisanal Nutriglop
- 1 Chobani Mango yogurt
- 1/4 cup milk
- 8 ice cubes
- 4 shots rum
- 1 squeeze of lime
- 1 cup grapes
Blend in a blender, then freeze for two hours, then blend again (that was what we did, it was pretty good just straight from the blender the first time.
Q & A session from the peanut gallery! Thanks everyone who submitted questions!
