Getting Lit S2EP7: Writing a Romance Novel for Dummies

Ilana and Wendy have a great discussion about the writing process, both within the romance genre and without, as well as try to think of all the most popular romance novel plot lines. Did we miss any? Comment with your own list!

Ilana’s Drink: Flaming Dr Pepper

In the spirit of instructive manuals, I made a bomb drink or drop shot as the Canadian say. It’s called a Flaming Dr Pepper. For chemistry reasons I stuck to the recipe:

  • Half a cup beer
  • 1 shot amaretto
  • 1 tsp 190 everclear alcohol (keeping it classy)

Pour the beer into a tall glass. I used my escape velocity cup because, you know: ignition. Put the shot into a shot glass with the everclear on top. Light the shot on fire. You will see from the video, it is hot, so maybe plan for that. Drop in beer. It does indeed taste like Dr Pepper!
